This book gives a detailed view on the reverberation of that Revolution and the subsequent American occupation in east and northeast Mindanao from 1897 till 1901. This book is intended for the local history of Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental and Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur. This book was undertaken not only because the story interested by the author himself but also because he believes that it can shed light on the important segment of time which otherwise might remain hidden or wrongly understood. This book is a valuable contribution to the scarce literature on local history in Mindanao.
