This book gives a detailed view on the study of Magindano history and society; and Magindanao’s political, economic, social structures, values, and sentiments dominated by man. The author identifies himself with Magindanao society only from the archival and library sources. The author also hopes that the value of local history will enhance the greater task of rewriting Philippine history-one reconstruction that will include Muslim Filipino history as historical construct. This book is a valuable contribution to the scarce literature on the Magindanao history in Mindanao.
