This book gives a detailed view about better understanding of the long running Mindanao issue. This book narrates yet another account of how the Armed Forces, the Central Mindanao Command (CEMCOM) in particular, were able to arrest the upsurge of the Muslim Secessionist Movement in southern Philippines. This book also relates story on a broader perspective, addressed important realities which may help the present as well as future leaders of the AFP deal with the Mindanao secessionist problem. The author hopes that by looking back at history, Filipino soldiers will appreciate the lessons learned from the past and be guided by them as we face the challenges of the future.
